Tough Love Couples

Posted by randomblogs on April 10, 2010 at 1:10 PM Comments comments (0)

This Monday, April 12, at 9 PM, it's the premiere of Tough Love Couples on VH1. This is the third installment of the reality series hosted by Steve and JoAnn Ward. Their recent book, called Crash Course In Love, hit the stores late last year on November 3. It is basically what they teach to the cast of the show, all 3 seasons now, available in a book form for purchase. Anyway, back to the topic, the show will take eight couples and at the end they will either break up for good, or get engaged. This will be just as interesting as, and even more dramatic than, the past two seasons. I can't wait!

Tough Love 2

The Tough Love 2 finale aired Sunday, January 31. The ending was really cool. If you get a chance to watch it, you should. I have followed the show since the beginning and it is cool to see the difference between the girls at the beginning of boot camp and at the end. They change so much. My best wishes to the girls on there! Good luck! Plus, a good job done by Steve and JoAnn Ward. They are the best matchmakers in the country, I think. (I'm basing this on the show and "the countless marriage Steve and JoAnn are responsible for".)

Congratulations to all who have made it through!

Good luck to those who are about to!

Tuesday, November 10, 2009, the DC Sniper, John Allen Muhummad, was executed by lethal injection in Greensville Correctional Facility near Washington DC.

Isn't it ironic that the "DC" Sniper died at "9:11" (pm)?

I think so.

Fantastic New Band!

Posted by randomblogs on July 30, 2009 at 1:38 AM Comments comments (0)

There is an absolutely great new band (they're unsigned still, I don't see how) called StilRize. They are from around the Boston, Massachusetts area and are amazing! They have one site -- on myspace -- and you absolutely have to listen to the songs they have on there. The address is myspace.com/stilrizemusic. You have to check it out!

"Music For Cougars"

Posted by randomblogs on July 13, 2009 at 4:54 AM Comments comments (0)

Sugar Ray's first studio album in six years called Music For Cougars comes out in stores July 21st! It's so exciting! Sugar Ray made their debut in 1995 with the album Lemonade and Brownies and have been rocking it ever since. They are an awesome band and are a definite must-listen-to. The members include Mark McGrath--who co-hosted ExtraTV-- and DJ Homicide--who recently put a solo hip-hop album out. They are a fantastic band with fantastic music!

The First One!

Posted by randomblogs on July 7, 2009 at 10:49 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello, everyone! This is the very first blog for Random Blogs! I'm so excited! Let's begin, shall we?

Just watching "Family Guy," this show is one of the funniest shows ever! If you don't know what it is, it's about a family in Quahog, Rhode Island. The characters are Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie, and Brian Griffin. Stewie is the funniest character on the show (in my opinion) and wants to take over the entire planet before he is one year old. It's hilarious! If you haven't watched it, you have lived under a rock for the past ten years, have no TV, or don't have the channels it comes on, probably. You have to watch this show it's awesome!

Ever since the "Twilight" saga came out, there has been a huge controversy between "Twilight" fans and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans. "Twilight" has it's own unique qualities, and so does "BtVS" in their own right. "Twilight," created by Stephanie Meyer, is a fantastic saga that is very entertaining. "BtVS," created by the mastermind Joss Whedon, had a very stable and large fan base while the series aired and still continues to have that such stable fan base. Personally, I like both of them equally. I don't see why everyone goes crazy because parts of the stories are similar. Those parts of the stories have existed for centuries. It's nothing new. Part of the reason this started was because Bella Swan in "Twilight" appears so weak, especially compared to Buffy Summers (I think). Don't forget that Buffy was relatively weak at first before she found out she was a slayer and knew that Angel and Spike were vampires immediately when she met them because she was the slayer. Also, Bella gets a lot stronger in Breaking Dawn and didn't know that Edward Cullen was a vampire at first. It all evens out.

Last night at four in the morning, I saw "MacGyver" on television for the first time in years. This show was, is, and always will be freaking amazing! Richard Dean Anderson was the perfect choice for MacGyver. No other person could have fit the character more than him. If you're like me and love "MacGyver" and you want to watch it over and over on DVDs, you can buy all seven seasons! I am so glad someone did this!

The Biltmore Estate in Biltmore Forest, North Carolina, near Asheville, NC, is so beautiful, and really big. It was so pretty during the Christmas time at the estate. The flowers and decorations are amazing. You should definitely go to see it sometime. It is well worth the trip and is very breathtakingly beautiful.

Commercials are getting more and more ridiculous every day. Some of them are pathetic, some of them are hilarious, some of them are actually good. If there are going to make commercials, at least make them entertaining. Those ridiculous freecreditreport.com commercials need to be banned! They SUCK! They're boring. They want to make me throw my TV out the window. What gives?! Who came up with this? The person who created it needs to be put in a room and forced to watch them all over and over and nothing else for twelve hours. Those freaking commercials drive me crazy when they come on.

I love professional wrestling. I am addicted to it! The idea to have guest hosts instead of a General Manager on WWE's "Monday Night RAW" is really awesome, really cool, and you don't have to hear Vickie Guererro's voice! The person who came up with this: genius, almost! In some ways, independent wrestling is better than WWE/TNA. And in other ways, WWE/TNA is better than independent wrestling. Independent wrestling is better by the fact that it has more wrestler-fan interaction (like when they're coming to the ring) and has a more party and fun like atmosphere at the shows. When I was at a local house show, the atmosphere was amazing. However, when I went to a house show of RAW, the atmosphere wasn't as great. It was pretty good, but not as good. The part that makes WWE/TNA is better because they can afford to make better shows. However, half of the time, independent wrestling has better shows. Also, WWE/TNA has better talent in most cases, but not always. Over all, I would have to say that the independent wrestling shows are usually better.

That's all for now! Get back to you soon! More random blogs are on the way!
